Physical Form : Keinan is built more solidly than most winged wolves, and is more muscular, with slightly shorter and thicker legs than average.  His paws and head are boxy, his muzzle thick and well-built, his ears good-sized, average-set, broad, and rounded at the tips.  His eyes are set into a wide, handsome face.  His tail is fairly long, resting at about mid-hock when hanging down.  His wings are large and wide to support his greater weight, but because of this, he's slower and less maneuverable in the air.  He is, however, a good glider.
Coat : Keinan's fur is thick and fairly long, particularly around his neck and face, which adds to his already large appearance.  It has an overall fairly coarse texture to it, with the undercoat being more wooly.  His main body color is a medium gray, with his belly, chest, most of his face, and the underside half of his tail being light gray.   His legs - in front, about halfway up his forelegs, and in rear, to just past his knees - is this same light color.  There's an even lighter triangle of fur on his lower chest, just between his front legs, with the tip of the triangle pointing down, and his paws and the backs of his rear legs, to just past his hock, are this same color.  A dark gray stripe runs from a point on his upper forehead down to his mid-tail.  His tail tip and ears are black.  His face is predominately light gray, which runs up into the sides of his ruff, stopping just below his ears, and arcs over each eye, meeting at a point of the base gray color in the center of his forehead.  The areas around his eyes are the pale color of his paws, and there's a dark gray streak - slightly lighter than the dark gray of his dorsal stripe - under that, extending from the outside corners of his eyes.  The bridge of his muzzle is this same color, and the insides of his ears are a dusty pale gray.
Wings : His wings start out as a dark sooty gray on the lesser coverts, growing to a lighter medium warm gray on the medians.  His primary and secondary coverts are slightly bluish-tinted and lighter than the medians, the secondary coverts darker than the primaries.  The underside coverts are lighter in color and duller.  His remiges are pure black.
Eyes : Keinan's averagely-sized eyes are gently inward-slanting, and have a look of calmness about them when he's relaxed.  They are primarily a light gray-green with darker flecks and spikes of golden-amber around the pupils.
Other : His nose is black with a grayish undertone, his paw pads are dark blackish gray, and his claws are black.  He has a fairly small but deep scar just under his right eye, which he received in the first major battle with the Dark-Hearts.

Vocal Characteristics : Keinan has a fairly deep voice which holds an overall calm and soothing tone to it during everyday speech.  This is not to say it is weak, as he can sound quite commanding and even ferocious when necessary.  He has a typical northwestern American accent.

Posture : In public, Keinan makes an effort to hold himself with an air of pride and confidence, in an effort to appear as he believes a leader should.  In private, he can often be found slouching with a lowered head an tail, his depression obviously taking its toll.
Gait : Keinan has always had a surprisingly graceful gait given his heavy build.  He makes an effort to maintain this poise around others, though lately it has slipped and become more careless when he's alone, again, due to his currently depressed state.

Ability : Keinan has the ability to concentrate and intensify electricity.  He can kill other creatures with his power, but, in normal conditions, to gather enough voltage together for this puts him in extreme danger.  If he doesn't die from it, he will pass out, sometimes for up to a few hours.  Electrical storms increase his power and allow him to kill more easily.

        Keinan, overall, has a fairly easygoing personality, and is open and friendly to most everyone.  He gets great joy from helping others, and has difficulty saying 'no' to someone in need, even if that someone is on the opposing side.  He has always been a patient wolf with an interest in the younger generation, and, though he took his responsibilities as Secondwolf seriously, he greatly enjoyed overseeing the training of the pack's initiates, and performed the job very well.
        From the time he was a pup, Keinan had always looked up to his father, Elan (then the pack's Firstwolf), with a great deal of respect and admiration, and this sense of reverence only increased when Elan rose to become Chief.  He daydreamed of someday succeeding his father as leader of the pack, and Elan encouraged him, seeing a great amount of potential in the responsible young wolf.
        When his beloved father (along with Enola, the pack's Firstwolf) died in a sudden, unexpected battle with the Dark-Hearts, however, Keinan was abruptly thrown headfirst into the rank he'd always strived toward.  Unprepared for the level of responsibility thrust upon him, and grieving the loss of his father, brother, and pregnant mate, Keinan lost a great deal of his self-esteem, and began to doubt his ability to lead the pack in such difficult times.  Since then, he has become rather listless and depressed, and though he has performed admirably during his trial, the pressure he's put on himself has sapped much of his zeal and enjoyment for life.  His temper has grown thinner and he will occasionally snap in situations where he wouldn't have lost his cool before.  This fact only serves to make him doubt his fitness to be Chief even more.
        Another major downside of his personality is the fact that he often allows his heart to lead his decision-making before his head.  Particularly, he is often willing to accept newcomers to the pack without considering the potential negative outcomes these new wolves could have, such as making it harder to gather enough food to feed the extra mouths, or the possibility that the new individuals could hold ill will toward the pack.  He is aware of this aspect of his personality, and tries to counter it, but still struggles to hold back when innocent wolves need help. 
        The pure hatred he feels toward the Dark-Hearts for taking his family can cloud his judgment, as well, as he is more willing to jump to fighting them before considering consequences or possible alternative actions.  He also has a difficult time accepting wolves who have had any sort of association with the Dark-Hearts.  Even if these individuals have reformed themselves, he's sometimes unwilling to forgive, particularly if he had any sort of relationship with the them in the past.

Dream(s) : Keinan always dreamed about becoming leader someday, but once he was dunked headfirst into the role, he found that he was unsure of his abilities and of what he had to do to be a good leader for his pack.  The loss of his family at the same time contributed greatly to his self-consciousness and uncertainty.  What he wants now is to find a way to defeat or otherwise placate the Dark-Hearts and make the valley safe for his pack once again.  His deepest desire is for his family to be whole and happy once again, and he wishes very much that Fala was still alive and that he could get the chance to become a father, but he knows that is impossible, however much he may wish it were so.

Physical Form : A small, sleek she-wolf, Oḍeya's appearance certainly compliments her sly personality.  She has average length, leaning toward long legs and small, rounded paws, giving her a dainty appearance, though she most certainly is not.  Her build is slim, with a fairly deep chest and tucked waist.  Her neck is average length, and her features are sharp and fox-like, giving her an ever-devious appearance.
Coat : Her pelt, average in length, is mostly a dark, brownish black, lighter on the back and upper legs and almost pure black on her belly, lower legs, and face, with tawny gold faded in along a band from just behind her shoulder blade to the very backs of her hips.  There is another streak of this color from the front of her shoulders to just behind her ears.  The top of her head has a bit of this color faded in, as well, in addition to along the edges of her ears.  There's a small white patch on her chest.
Wings : Her wings are mostly brownish-black of mottled shades, with lighter feather edges and some tawny gold dappled in the coverts.  The flight feathers are black at the tips and fade as they go up.
Eyes : Her eyes, narrow, inward-slanting, and sly in appearance, are a pale gold.

Vocal Characteristics : Her voice is generally calm, often holding a lilting, singsong quality when she's happy... though the pleasant sound can quickly transform into a screeching, snarling terror if she is angered.

Posture : Fitting her narcissistic personality, Oḍeya holds herself high, with her legs very straight, paws together, and her head and tail raised in a smug, holier-than-thou sort of way... at least, when she's in a good mood.  If something angers her, she stiffens up, lowers her head threateningly, splays her legs aggressively, and raises her tail even more in an exaggerated aggression stance.
Gait : Oḍeya often moves in something of a prance, her gait springy and leisurely.  If she becomes angered, however, her movements become very erratic and difficult to predict.

Ability : Oḍeya can overtake the minds of weak-spirited or emotionally-challenged individuals, allowing her to influence them to perform her deeds and, to some extent, even manipulate their memories.  She can have three mind-links at once, but can only be in control of one at any given time.  For a link to form, she must be able to observe the subject for rather long periods - how long depends on how solid the wolf's resolve is.  Wolves of strong mind can take days of close contact to form a successful link with, if she can at all.  Restoring the subject's mental strength can often break the bond.

Physical Form : Peyhote is a medium-sized wolf, though he weighs more than most of his height because of his thicker build and slightly shorter-than-average limbs.  His paws are medium in size, lightly rounded, and his tail is average in length.  His head is fairly round, slightly square in shape, and his muzzle is lightly blocky, with a rounded trapezoidal nose.   His ears are large, fairly wide at the base, and hold an average set atop his head.  They are rounded at the tips, which curl slightly inward.
Coat : Peyhote's coat is fairly long and quite thick, particularly around his neck and ruff; because of this, it can grow oppressive in the summer months.  Its base color is a medium dusty tan-gray, with lighter, whitish brown-gray undersides and dark ticking on his shoulders and back and the top of his head.  He has a darker tail, with an even darker tip and a white streak on either side which starts on his rump and travels about a quarter of the way down his tail, and a small white dash on his mid chest and another between his front legs.  His forepaws and lower forelegs are dark.  Around the pads, it's creamy white.  His face is primarily the light whitish color, extending up into his ruff, with tan-gray on his head and cheeks.  He has darker ears, with chocolate brown edges, and a chocolate mask covering the bridge of his muzzle and under each eye.  Above his eyes, extending up into his browspots, the fur is pale whitish gray.
Wings : Peyhote's wings, similar to a mockingbird's, are primarily a dark chocolate brown color, growing lighter along the feather edges.  The coverts are slightly lighter in color than the remiges, particularly on the undersides, where they grow almost as light as his main body coloring.  The primary flight feathers have a broad, white streak across the bases.
Eyes : Slanting gently inward toward his nose, with a fairly straight upper eyeline, Pey's eyes have an intensely calm look about them, as well as making him appear quite wise and intelligent.  They are a deep orange in color, slightly darker around the pupil.

Vocal Characteristics : Peyhote has a naturally deep, soothing voice, and almost always speaks in a calm, relatively soft tone.  When he's amused, you can hear a slight tone of laughter enter his voice.  Possibly a light British - likely Received Pronunciation - accent?  Maybe a Native American accent?
Scent : Pey usually takes on the scents of the herbs he works with, but his natural scent has a strong, warm earthy tone.
Posture : His posture is generally quite relaxed yet dignified, and gives him a certain air of nobility.

Ability : Peyhote has telekinesis - the ability to lift objects using only thought.  He can lift any solid object, even animals, if they keep still - if they move too much, it can break his hold on them.  He can't lift anything over around 200 pounds, and lifting objects or animals weighing over 100 pounds will quickly tire him out.

Holding a deep quality of wisdom, somewhat curiously for his relatively young age, Peyhote could be well-described as an 'old soul' - the kind of individual who seems knowledgeable and experienced beyond his years.  He's nearly always soft-spoken, and isn't the loud or opinionated type, though he will give his candid thoughts if asked.  Gentle and kind in his mannerisms, he enjoys caring for others above all else, and sees it as his duty to help those in need, regardless of species or intent.  This can prove to be a downside, however, as he has a very hard time turning away anyone who needs his help, even those who may wish him harm.
        Despite his wise and usually rather noble nature, Pey can also be quite playful, and enjoys playing the occasional harmless prank or joke on his close friends and family, often using his telekinetic power to do so.  He has a good sense of humor, and it's very hard to offend him with teasing or even potentially hurtful jibes - he takes it all in his stride, like the good-natured wolf he is.
        Though he cares deeply for all of his packmates, Peyhote has a particularly strong love for pups.  He took Gayatahi under his wing when the young wolf came, familyless, to the pack, doing the best he could to help him with the struggles he endured from his power, and has become something of a father figure to him.  He is also incredibly fond of Pollux and Castor, and took it upon himself to help look after them, along with their fearful mother, Galatea, when they, too, joined with the pack.

Quirks : Due to a close call with a rattlesnake when he was an initiate, Peyhote has a deep phobia of snakes.  The incident impacted him deeply, and he now trembles at the sight of serpents of all kinds, as well as any noise resembling a rattle.  He is also quite wary of the Canyon, as that's where his bite occurred, and where snakes, especially rattlers, are most common.

Coat : Chaska's fairly thick coat has lightened in her old age, turning from a medium-dark gray color to a grizzled, grayish white.  She has dark, smoky gray ticked on her back, tail, ears, and the bridge of her muzzle, spreading up onto her forehead, as well as on her paws, about a quarter of the way up each of her legs. This dark color has a sort of salt-and-pepper look, flecked throughout with pale grayish white hairs.

Physical Form : Vasher is a large, bulky, muscular wolf.  His legs are thick and fairly long, his paws large, his chest deep and wide, and his face fairly square and blocky, with a heavy muzzle.
Coat : Vasher's coat is thick and mid-length, a bit longer on his ruff and cheeks than is average.  The guard hairs have a coarse texture.  His base is a dark gray color, with medium gray unders and legs and lighter chest and throat patches, paws and backs of legs, thick dorsal stripe, and lower face.  He has black ears and under-eyes, a black patch on his muzzle bridge, black shoulder patches leading to a streak along each side of his neck, and a black arrowhead marking behind his shoulders, surrounded by a larger white marking.  He has white above his eyes and in eyespots, white age ticking on his whisker pads and chin and upper throat, and gray age ticking on his ear rims.  His tail is light gray with a dark gray streak on top and a black tip.

        Upon first glance, Vasher would seem to be the perfect Dark-Heart – cold, unemotional, unattached, uncaring.  He doesn’t show any sign of remorse over the actions his pack has taken to become as strong as possible, and he never balks when asked to commit atrocities himself.  However, Vasher was once a very different wolf.  He was a mild-mannered but passionate young male, and had a mate and children.  But after the tragic loss of his family, everything changed.  In an attempt to protect himself from his heartache, he began to hide away all trace of feeling, suppressing his emotions until he was a shell of the wolf he once was.  While he still occasionally feels twinges of emotion, he doesn’t show this fact – you will never find this wolf exhibiting anger, but on the same token he doesn’t show feelings of affection or excitement, either.  Most don’t bother to look beneath the surface, and simply believe that Vasher is incapable of feeling any differently.

Physical Form : Chayton, though of fairly average weight, stands slightly taller than his larger brother, Keinan.  He has a tall and slim build, with long legs and tail, a tucked waist, and a slender, graceful neck.  At first glance, he would appear to be fairly scrawny, but if you engage him you will find that he has lean, hard muscle under his fur.  His finely chiseled head sports a long, narrow muzzle and a wedge-shaped nose with a sharp tip.  His large ears, fairly pointed toward the tips, are triangular and have a proud set atop his head.  In all, he's quite devilishly handsome.
Coat : Chayton's short but thick fur has a fairly soft texture to it compared to many other wolves.  He is primarily white, with a bluish gray 'blanket' across his back, the top of his neck and tail, and along his upper hips.  There's a thick black streak running from the center of his forehead to just past the base of his tail, ending in a squared-off shape.  On his neck, in front of his withers, this black streak joins with a black 'collar' marking that runs down to his lower chest.  His tail tip and the edges of his ears are also black.  The bridge of his muzzle, from his nose to just past the mid-point, is black, which quickly turns to dark gray and continues up to end in a point between his eyes, just touching each inside corner of his eyes on its way.  A dark gray, two-pronged stripe extends from the outside corner of each eye, the first 'prong' running straight out for about one eye's width, and the second branching off about halfway down to curve about a third of the way below each eye, staying about an eye's length away from the eye.  A pale, dusty gray-brown color covers the rest of his muzzle and chin until a little over a third of the way down.  This same color arcs above and below his eyes, and appears in separate browspots just above that, as well as on all four paws - in front, about halfway to his wrists, in rear, slightly past his hocks - and in a circular marking patched on the front of each shoulder blade.
Wings : Chayton's wings start out black on the marginal coverts.  His median coverts are a medium gray, tipped and barred once with black.  The secondary coverts are a slightly lighter shade of gray, with a concave half-circle spot at the tip of each and a few black bars, none of the markings touching the edge of the feather.  The primary coverts stand out as a bright bluish color, like that of a blue jay, with white tips and black bars.  His remiges are a pale, dusty gray-brown at the base, fading gradually to white about halfway down.  They are tipped and banded several times with black.  These colors are just slightly lighter on the undersides of his wings compared to the topsides.  His largest two alulae feathers are light gray with black tips and bars; the two smallest are soot gray with black tips and bars, blending into the median coverts of the same color scheme.
Eyes : Chayton's eyes are almond-shaped, slanting slightly inward.  They are of a golden-amber color, with slightly lighter flecks around the center of the iris.
Other : He has a set of bite-mark scars near the center of the bridge of his muzzle, slightly offset to the right, given to him by Oḍeya as punishment for poor performance while leading one of their patrols, during which another Dark-Heart - the high-ranking Watan - died.  Chayton deeply hates these scars, as they remind him of his 'betrayal' to the pack and his family, and also feels as if they ruin his otherwise handsome face.

Ability : Chayton can bend light rays around his body to render himself invisible to others.  However, this doesn't mask his scent or the noises he makes, and his location can still be revealed visually by pawprints he leaves behind, as well as if substances such as dirt, mud, or snow touch his pelt.  He can re-bend the light rays to cover such substances, if he knows about them, but this takes him a second or two.  He can also cloak others, but only if they are in direct contact with him.

Physical Form : Laiko is a slightly larger-than-average wolf, though his long, somewhat scrawny-looking limbs and tall, lanky form make him seem bigger than he is, as he stands taller than most wolves he encounters.  He's slim and sleek, and fairly long-bodied, and, while he's not very muscular, his size gives him a strength advantage over smaller opponents, while his lithe form lends him speed and agility, which makes for a deadly combination in battle.  Most of his features are fairly 'neat', particularly his paws, which are compact, lightly rounded, and almost dainty-looking, but are most definitely not so - underneath, his pads are tough and obviously strong and perfect for running.  His tail is a bit longer than normal, matching the rest of his tall form, and falls just about mid-hock when hanging down.  His head sits atop a fine, slender neck and is fairly round, slightly narrower than most, with a finely-shaped face.  His muzzle is long and narrow, with a slight bend a few inches above his nose, his nose itself fairly triangular, pointed at the tip.  His ears are tall, pointed, and high-set, making him seem perpetually alert and curious, and tilt slightly outward toward the tips.  His wings are long, thin, and elegant in appearance, suited more for quick maneuvers than long-distance gliding, though his endurance is still decent.
Coat : Laiko's fur is fairly short, but thick, and is permanently spiked up, particularly on his shoulders, chest, neck, ruff, the top of his head, and his tail.  Still, it maintains a look of glossy cleanliness, and is kept neat despite its clumpiness.  Its base color is a medium, warm brown.  His back, shoulders, the top of his neck and head, and the top of his tail are a darker brown, while his belly, chest, legs, and the underside of his tail are a pale tan-brown.  There's an even darker brown streak starting on his head, behind his ears, and traveling all the way down his spine to his mid-tail.  The tip of his tail is this same color.  The fronts of his hips and shoulders are a bit darker than the base color, while the backs of his thighs and elbows are pale.  His rear paws and lower legs, about halfway up to his ankles, are white.  The lower half of his face is pale tan-brown, from either side of his muzzle to below his eyes and extending from the outside corners, arcing down to the edge of his ruff.  The same pale color extends up from the inside corner of each eye, arcing above the eyes and extending into his browspots.  The dark brown of his back is also present on his ears, and it extends down the sides of his face and into his ruff, like sideburns.  A same-color streak comes from the outside corner of each eye, separating the brown and tan of his face, and arcs above each eye, coming to a point just against the lower part of his browspots.  This streak extends down below each eye, as well, but is a bit lighter in color - the same color present on the fronts of his shoulders and thighs.  The bridge of his nose is this color, as well.  The insides of his ears are a pale tan-brown.
Wings : Laiko's wings are, on top, a dark brown with lighter flecks speckled across the marginal covert layers.  The remiges are a light honey-gold, fading to a lighter color towards the tips of the feathers, with slightly darker brown barring.  The primary and secondary coverts are a darker shade of golden brown, tipped with dark brown on the topside layers.  The color scheme on the undersides of the wings is similar, but is much lighter and duller in color, primarily a creamy brown, and the primary and secondary coverts are plain gold-cream, without the darker tips.  Also, the flecks on the marginal coverts are much more sparse, and are darker than the surrounding feathers instead of lighter, a sort of medium gold-brown color.
Eyes : His large, round, seemingly perpetually curious eyes are a warm, honey-brown, darker around the pupil and the outside of the iris, with lighter gold flecks around the center of the iris.

Vocal Characteristics : Laiko's voice is of medium-high pitch, fairly smooth and not gravelly, but not exactly soft, either.  When he's angry, there's a continuous, low-level growl present in his tone; however, in his general good mood, his voice is fairly happy and bouncy, with plenty of character.  His voice tends to rise in pitch, often to something of a squeak, when he's excited, nervous, or surprised.  He speaks with an English accent - a mix of Estuary with some Cockney - though there's also a hint of Scottish present in the way he enunciates certain words. Posture : His posture is generally quite straight but also relaxed.  He tends to lean over and tilt his head when he's cheekily joking around, splaying his forelegs a bit in a slight bow and swaying gently back and forth.  When he's sad, he'll slouch a bit, and when he's angry, he visibly tenses up; his posture generally reveals his moods quite well, unless he's purposely trying to hide what he's feeling.
Gait : He has quite a smooth gait, his movements often seeming almost effortless.  He'll gain a noticeable bounce when excited.  The length of his legs makes his stride longer than most wolves, so he generally travels faster than them, even when he's not in a hurry; he often has to check his speed when he's with wolves with shorter legs.  When he is in a hurry, he has no qualms about running at full-speed; he's very quick on his paws.
